Fuzzy logic

One of the great things about reviewing shows for the Festival is the behind-the-scenes snippets of information that you get in preparation. Perks for the Press as I like to call them. This affords you the journalist a priviledged perch upon which to write and give your public an insight and depth to enhance and makes sense of their own experience. So why am I cacking my breeks with worry and an empty head about tonight's performance of Fuerzabruta?

The show has been running since early August. It is only now that I am getting the opportunity to catch a viewing. I'm very excited.

If word of mouth is the best means of gauging the worth of a show (bar Curio's review section of course), then this show is one of the Festival's must-sees.

My only problem is that no one has been adequately able to verbalise just what the damn show is about. All I know its destined to be an unforgettable experience. And thats the magic.

Isn't it great that life still contains artistry, magic, spectacle and VAGUERY! In an age of mass-produced burger restaurants, flat-packed furniture emporiums, and package holidays, isn't it swell that theatre avoids all this and can still touch us where it counts: in our hearts.

I just don't know what to expect tonight at all. They tell me I may get wet? Will this ruin my clothes? Is that actually legal? Have they consulted Health and safety about this. Does the Council know? Will I be able to sue? What if I catch a chill?

Relax prick and enjoy the show!

Vaguery .... What a wonderful thing.

Exeunt.
